Wide planning tool for the artistic and technical areas
Our newest development thea.project is an effective add-on for artistic and technical considerations and rough planning, on the basis of which detailed planning can then be proposed.
Graphical interface
With thea.project you get an interactive and filterable view of separate or all productions of a season, supported by a Gantt and timeline chart (bar view). You can store, plan and individually adapt production processes from templates, from the mock-up set rehearsal to the workshop meeting, the technical setup to the opening night, as well as define dependencies and milestones, and link the working hours, people or stages/locations required for processes.
Pre-planning of the artistic staff
If a production is planned in thea.project, it is possible, for example for the artistic area, to plan the individual rehearsal phases from the individual “bars” in the scheduling mask. The thea.project view also shows the ensemble and personnel plans already stored in the basiccast for a production. Thus, potential overlaps can be checked at an early stage and dealt with accordingly.
Extrapolation of available department hours
In the technical field, human resources in particular can be mapped and planned, as you can individually store the expected time required for specific (production) tasks in thea.project. This makes the add-on very attractive, especially for workshop planning, because available department hours for individual production steps in a production are extrapolated based on the working hours that can be called up individually per employee (also taking work percentages or absences into account).
For example, you can immediately see what impact a vacation request or illness will have on the production of a specific stage set and can thus prevent bottlenecks.
Link between thea.dispo and thea.perso
Since thea.project links the two main programs thea.dispo and thea.perso, the following assessment question, based on “hard facts”, can be answered in no time at all: Will postponing a mock-up set rehearsal to a later date create bottlenecks in the workshops? Thus thea.project is THE tool of the hour for both artistic and technical planning, linking both areas!
