Authorizations

New user group “public”

There is a new user group “public” in theasoft Authorizations management. All theasoft users (client or web) are automatically in this group, which has the effect that Rights can be assigned via this group, which are “public” i.e. published “for the entire house”.

A new season can be published internally via the “public” group; individual users or user groups no longer need to be authorized; it is also recommended to have a Reading permission in the thea.dispo Owner Rights “Activities (via productions)” and “Casts / technical duty” because the activities of rehearsals and performances, such as the casts, could be relevant for almost all theasoft users.

Production list

There is a new theasoft feature under the menu item Management->Production list: Here all productions can be displayed in a filterable list at the same time, thus creating the possibility of grouping, sorting or better comparing production information. It is also now possible to display all production fields or task areas next to each other in a list. The selection can be made by right-clicking on the column header (in the “Column chooser” context menu).

Plan Generator: Standard template for production plan

The standard template of a production plan has been added to the Perf. / Reh. Schedule templates. It shows the activities of the selected production, the corresponding cast overlaps with other productions and the absences in a separate column. The template can be used when creating a new plan->one line per day->Production plan.

RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) interface

RFID technology can be used to identify and locate objects without contact. In theasoft it is now possible – with the appropriate hardware – to make entries or withdrawals in thea.fundus using RFID chips sewn or attached to costume parts. This is technically possible for both individual bookings and large quantities of costume parts at the same time in a single booking step.

Further developments of all thea.web modules / digital leave pass

theasoft is in preparation for the release of the revised web modules of thea.web-dispo, thea.web-perso and thea.web-orchester.

All web modules will be fundamentally revised and expanded in appearance and functionality.

For example, a configurable "bulletin board" or dashboard is being developed, on which personal theasoft appointments and absences, the performance, daily or canteen schedule can be displayed at a glance. Especially for the thea.perso area, the possibility of digital time recording will be expanded.

First for the thea.dispo area, later for all other web modules, the digital "leave pass" is currently also in development. The focus here is on the free configuration of various approval steps, for example depending on the area of application, contract affiliation or area of responsibility in productions.
