From release 4.213.x (mid-June 2021), a new .NET Framework minimum requirement applies

As of release 4.213.x, an installed .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher is required.
Until now, the minimum requirement was .NET Framework 4.5.2.

The .NET Framework 4.7.2 supports the same Windows versions as .NET Framework 4.5.2, with the exception of Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows 8 and Windows Vista SP 2. Some older versions of Windows 10 Enterprise LTS do also not support .NET Framework 4.7.2.
If you are using one of these versions, please postpone the update and check to switch to a newer Windows version.

The .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher is already preinstalled from Windows 10 (1803) onwards or from Windows Server (1803) onwards. If you use these Windows versions or higher, you do not have to install anything.

The .NET Framework 4.7.2 can be installed manually, via software distribution or via our automatic update system.
To do this, you simply have to copy the unzipped setup files from .NET Framework 4.7.2 and the required language packs into the update folder. These are then installed during the update if necessary.

You can obtain the .NET Framework 4.7.2 from the official Microsoft website or from our download area under Tools. There you will also find a script with which you can check which computers with Theasoft are already using .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher.
