With the release 4.172.x (mid-April 2017) we have new system requirements
.NET Framework
Starting with the release 4.172.x the .NET Framework 4.5.2 is required. The .NET Framework 4.5.2 is not available for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Please check if you can upgrade to a more recent Windows OS or delay the update of 4.172.x.
The .NET Framework 4.5.2 can be optained as recommended Windows Update and it is also already installed on recent Windows versions like Windows 10.
You can also download it from our website in the downloads section in the category tools. If you unzip the installation files into the update folder, AutoUpdate can install it if it is required.
Starting with version 4.166.x, you can see in the permission managment view, if a user has no .NET Framework 4.5.2 installed or is still running Windows XP.
SQL Server
The SQL Server version 2005 (version ID 9.0) is not supported in release 4.172.x. The oldest supported SQL Server is then the SQL Server version 2008 (version ID 10.0). All recent versions are supported too (2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016)
